Yup! As you all know I'm 19 years and 2 days old today! So what happens during my birthday?
Saturday, 10 May 2008
- A project meeting with my groupmates at Bishan Library. (1000-1200)
- Originally intend to celebrate at Malaysia but the traffic was super bad, so ended up having lunch in Swensons Causeway Point. Too bad my brother was not with us. He had to work. We ordered a special set for Mother's Day. We had Sourdough 49ers Beef, Beef Baked Rice, Salmon 'N' Mushroom Pasta, Corn & Crisps, Breaded Chicken Meuniere and Earthquake Ice-cream. The highlight was the earthquake ice cream. We had butterscotch, chocolate, yam, strawberry, mango, coffee, chocolate chip and chewy chocolate. Marvelicious. The caramel sauce was heaven!
- Ouh ya! It was supposed to be my birthday, but I had to buy my sister Gameboy. Share with my elder brother of course. So we go roaming for the cheapest and nearby for it.
- The day finding for the Gameboy was a failure, so we went back home and hunt for it again at night. So we go Causeway Point at night. Failure again, it was late and so, we decided to have our dinner at Banquet.
Why the failure? Coz Gameboy are outdated already....Haha
11th May 2008
- Mother's Day
- My family and I, again without my brother, went to Johor Bahru which is a routine for my parents that is.
- Since the hunt on the day before, this time it was a success. After having our breakfast at Hutan Bandar where I ate Mee Rebus Tulang which is delicious, we head to City Square. It was still early and the shop had not open yet, so we roam around.
- At 11am, the shop open, and we bought the Gameboy Advance PSP pink colour with a Little Pony cartridge.
- At first I was suggesting her to buy Gameboy micro, which is way cheaper. You know what she say? She say the screen too small, later cannot see. And she's only 6 yrs old!!
-On our way back home, as usual, traffic jam. So we reach home at around 2pm. Then we changed, and head to my grandma's house for the big celebration which is another routine yearly event.
- It is also my birthday celebration la.... I bought a Secret Recipe Cake there.
- My aunt cook a lot....Ikan Sambal, Sotong Hitam, Sambal Goreng, Lemak Terung and Mee Putih.
- My other aunties and cousins brought epok-epok, bergedil, bubur sagu, apam, tulang merah (exquisite!!).
- Its a potluck thingy....And I ate a bit of everything! My stomach almost burst!!
Here's a few pic....
This is the cake that I bought from City Square's Secret Recipe: Chocolate Indulgence. Creamy and rich Belgian coverture chocolate and white chocolate filling. Absolutely a luscious, luxurious, sinfully rich chocolate lover's dream. Try it! The cake is like superb! The best cake I've ever tasted!!
My mum, my sis, my nephew and myself. (My eyes like shit here!)
That's about it! Oh ya! I was rushing to fininsh my projects after the celebration as I had 2 projects and a test the next day, that is today!!
To those who wishes me and going to wish me through email, friendster, blog, sms, or verbally, thanks a lot! Appreciate all of it from the bottom of my heart!! I must say, this year I received the most wishes ever!! Haha....Adios!
Today, while I was walking toward the e-mart, I saw her. Who? I guess I shall say my used to be my best friend. I wanted to approach her and say hi. But she was walking too fast which I guess trying to run away from me and pretend not to see me. So hack care! To this kind of people, why bother to say hi! She had changed.....She looks more stuck up...Well, don't say I don't befriend her. Well, if she has a problem, tell me if she still regard me as a friend. It hurts to me to lose a friend. I guess people do change. To you, if you think I misjudge you, then tell me.....

Yep, the camp was finally over. I was TIRING and FUN. It started on Friday for the main comm. Its the day when we prepared for the next day that is the 1st day of the camp. Most of us had little or no sleep at all. I had none.
1st Day My energy was full. So I got to know my group. Its named Putri Salad. My members consists of Fyza the Head GL, Nuriyah the assisstant GL for Day 1, Kiki the assisstant GL for Day 2 and Amirr. Well that's the current members. As for the freshies, I have Nazmi, Lala, Aishah, Farhan Asnizam, Nafisah, Liyana and Fadhilah. So sad that I cannot spend a lot of time with them. For 1st day, we have ice-breaking games, amazing race, singing bee and nightwalk. Special attention to night walk, some freshies might think its lagging and not scary, well for the facilitators, we see and feel a lot of things. So if you guys want, next year be facilitators. Haha.
2nd Day My energy was nearly empty. Such a disappointment that a lot went back, the current members and freshies and that includes 2 of my freshies, you know who of which only one of them told me. It made complication with the planned plan. Stress at that time. But I'm still glad that the rest stay. We head to West Coast Park and played Captain's Ball. Followed by group cheer/performance and finally prize ceremony. It was suppose to end at 5pm but we ended it at 3.30pm after seeing the tiredness in my freshies' face as well as the current members and main comm. So guess who's the winner? Putri Salad!! My team!! Haha..
Other awards was best male camper, Fadhuli and best female camper Lala (my team again) of which the prize is sponsored by .......you know who...Haha!
As a whole, I think it's successful as this is my first time planning for FOC but not a total success as there were problems here and there along the way. I hope the freshies enjoyed it. If not, my apologies and try to organize it and I shall judge it. Haha. Just kidding. Thanks to my group! Putri Salad! Love you all!! Do keep in contact!
Special thanks to my dearest partner, Dhilah who helped a lot, I say A LOT....And my dearest main comm. Without you I shall sink down the the drain.....
Dilemma.....you know, in public transport, there is a sign showing please give your seat to elderly, pregnant lady or passenger with young kids.
So who comes first if all three exists in the same transport or a few of the same type exists in the same transport? Who should I give my seat to? Should I ignore?
That is exactly what happens to me most of the time and again today. I had two old man standing in front of me. To whom should I give my seat to? I wonder. And more came.
Ask yourself, if that person especially old people can go places far from their home, why can't they afford to stand all the way? If they can dress up like youngsters do, why can't they stand like youngsters do? If you complain that they have weak legs, can't young people have weak legs too? How could you know that the youngster have leg cramps or leg pain? You can't tell, can you? That's exactly my point. So again, should I give my seats away? I do have leg cramps too, honestly.
Honestly, what I did was that I continue sitting. Its bad of me and I felt guilty everytime. But same old question pops out. There were so many of them. However, I usually give my seat to pregnant lady and if there is only one old folk around. About pregnant lady, some people do have big tummy even when they are not pregnant. So wouldn't I be offending them if I offer her my seat???
